Cubic Yards
Our skip hire range extends from a small 2 cubic yards up to a massive 50 yards.
If you are domestic customer then typically our 2, 4 or 8 cubic yard skips are going to be the size for you.
If in doubt what size skip you need please do not hesitate to call and we can advise.
Permits
Many councils and local authorities require you to have a permit to put a skip on the road outside your property. It is our policy not to supply skips which are going to be placed on a public road due to past problems. If the skip is going on your land then we will be delighted to help.
Size Guide
2 Cubic Yards
Ideal if you were doing some work in your garden and wanted an easy way to get rid of unwanted stones, topsoil and clay.
4 Cubic Yards
Excellent for a larger project but you do not want to have a truck which is too large on your property.
This would be suitable if you were replacing a bathroom and old bath.
8 Cubic Yards
This is a large skip and can take 8 tonnes of clay. If you think you will need more than one skip this size our grab lorry might be worth a look.
This would probably suitable for most old kitchens assuming the old units were broken down.
Commercial Waste
16 Cubic Yards
Ideal for industrial or commercial sites when you know a smaller skip will be filled in a matter of a few days.
30 Cubic Yards
Could be used for a large garden clearance or commercial waste
50 Cubic Yards
This would not be suitable for heavy material such as clay as it would be too heavy to move but instead bulkier commercial items. For more details please get in touch or use our contact form.

What Happens To What We Collect?
Recycling – In A Word
- Plastic – that can be recycled.
- Wood – there is a market for old wood.
- Topsoil is screened out from other material.
- Bricks and hardcore is crushed down and is reused.
- Metal is sorted into ferrous and non-ferrous to be recycled.
Our average is 98% of what we collect is recycled leaving only 2% to go to landfill.
